DNA Methylation and gene expression patterns are widely altered in fetal growth restriction and associated with FGR development

چکیده

Fetal growth restriction (FGR) is the failure of fetus toachieve its genetically determined potential, which increasesrisks for a variety genetic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, coronary artery disease, and stroke, during lifetime. The dysregulation DNA methylationis known to interact with environmental fluctuations, affect gene expressions comprehensively, be fatal development in specific cases. Therefore, we set out find epigenetic transcriptomic alterations associated FGR development. We found differentially expressed genes methylated regions placentae cord blood samples. Using dimensional reduction analysis, expression methylation variables epigenetically altered classified samples from controls. These were also enriched biological pathways metabolism developmental processes related FGR. Furthermore, three INS, MEG3, ZFP36L2 are implicated imprinting, has been results strongly suggest that highly dysregulated development, abnormal patterns likely alter expression.

The effect of aspirin on preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction (FGR) in obese pregnant women : a randomized controlled clinical trial

Background: To evaluate the effect of aspirin on preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction (FGR) in obese pregnant women. Methods: A randomized clinical trial with 187 participants. Participants were allocated to either an intervention (aspirin; n=89) or control (placebo; n=98) group. In two groups, intervention was done from 13-20 until 34 weeks of pregnancy. Outcomes were preeclampsia and FG...

Effects of in ovo Injection of Zinc Acetate on some Gene Expression Associated with Embryonic Growth and Development, and with Growth and Carcass Characteristics of the Resultant Chicks

This study was conducted in two steps to determine the effects of in ovo injection of zinc acetate (ZAC) on some gene expression associated with embryonic growth and development, and with growth and carcass characteristics of the resultant chicks. In the first step the effect of in ovo injectionofZAC on the expression of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs:IGF-I and IGF-I), myog...

Postnatal Growth and DNA Methylation Are Associated With Differential Gene Expression of the TACSTD2 Gene and Childhood Fat Mass

Rapid postnatal growth is associated with increased risk of childhood adiposity. The aim of this study was to establish whether this pathway is mediated by altered DNA methylation and gene expression. Two distinct cohorts, one preterm (n=121) and one term born (n=6,990), were studied. Exploratory analyses were performed using microarrays to identify differentially expressed genes in whole blood...

Intrauterine calorie restriction affects placental DNA methylation and gene expression.

Maternal nutrient restriction causes the development of adult onset chronic diseases in the intrauterine growth restricted (IUGR) fetus. Investigations in mice have shown that either protein or calorie restriction during pregnancy leads to glucose intolerance, increased fat mass, and hypercholesterolemia in adult male offspring. Some of these phenotypes are shown to persist in successive genera...

DNA methylation patterns and gene expression associated with litter size in Berkshire pig placenta

Increasing litter size is of great interest to the pig industry. DNA methylation is an important epigenetic modification that regulates gene expression, resulting in livestock phenotypes such as disease resistance, milk production, and reproduction. We classified Berkshire pigs into two groups according to litter size and estimated breeding value: smaller (SLG) and larger (LLG) litter size grou...
